No problem, I enjoy talking about history from a personal point of view. We can talk about trends and statistics and official pronouncements from the Folks On High, but what interests me are the stories of the individuals who were there. I want to know what it was like to
be there, to see and hear and participate.
(in college I specialized in the interpretation of original documents - puzzling out the AWFUL handwriting, finding out about the authors, placing them in a historical context. That's what I love.)
