Yep, that's what they keep saying over at DU... they just adore the way Bush "panders" to the left. That's part of my point - the administration and GOP are doing all this pandering to the left, and it's
a) not going to get him any (or at least, that many) leftist votes and
b) alienating conservatives!

Just for the moment could you consider that Bush also knows he is not going to "win votes" and is making conservtives unhappy but he is doing what HE thinks is right?
