Sorry, I guess you're not use to people around my age (23) knowing history. Sorry kid but I have LIVED history. Now go watch LOTR but remeber it is a fairy tale not an instruction book.

Could you point to me where Western Rome, Eastern Rome and Ancient China are mentioned in Lord of the Rings. Until then, you should stop repling until you have actually read what has first been posted to you.

Laura Ingraham is the Republican Eleanor Clift, and even she is starting to get fed up with this liberal. Yes she is upset with this proposal but does she say dump Bush anywhere?
To: Paul C. Jesup
Remember what Abe Lincoln said:
"Wrestle with a skunk and you might start smelling like him."
To: SerpentDove
Quoting Abe Lincoln to a Southerner is like quoting Clinton to a Dittohead.
Both are unwise.

Yes Tex, we've heard it all before....

Yes Tex, we've heard it all before.... Where are all of those hundreds of "strong Bush supporters" that are not going to vote for him again? I can't find them. Help me out here.
To: Paul C. Jesup
I'm a Southerner. Oh well.

Then you should know better. ;P

President Bush and the Republican's could open our borders to 2 million Chinese a year on some kind of temporary work/amnesty scam and somehow you and a few other die hards would figure out a way to accept or support it. Face it Tex, you've got an "R" stamped on your forehead.
But it's nice seeing you in there again Tex. I always enjoyed the debate with you.
Best regards.

Well tex, there are more than a few right here on this thread. Get out more, take a look around. It'll do you good.

Well tex, there are more than a few right here on this thread You cant kid an old kidder Joe, There are NO "strong Bush supporters" on this thread yelling dump Bush. I voted no on the FR poll but I sure as hell will vote for him this year. Sorry Joe but all you are hearing is the same tired old bunch that show up every election cycle to claim "base" status. Don't get your hopes up.
To: Joe Hadenuf
Polls? I have not referred to polls. You did. You tried to back-up your assertion that the "majority of Americans are against Bush's proposal" citing one poll in Salt Lake City.
Bush offered his proposal. We're not a dictatorship here. Congress will have its say. Think about Joe, perhaps Bush is a president not driven by polls. Ya think?

Laugh away. He won't get any new Hispanic votes, but he'll be losing a good many from his base.Of course he won't, his proposal won't make them instant citizens. The ones in his base are LEGALIZED CITIZENS. He may lose "a good many", but he certainly won't lose "every single one".

AAAAAAAAAGGGGGG. You and tex hang out and tell each other how great this all is.
Me? I am exit, stage right.....

Makes no sense to me either, especially if that's the law on the books as written. Kinda throws the "enforce the laws already on the books instead of enforcing new ones" argument out the window.
