[history]
One lesson is abundantly clear in "The Apprentice," the new reality show that positions Donald Trump as a demigod. Money -- even The Donald's billions of dollars -- can't buy good hair. With his seedy combover, which perches on his forehead like a mohair racoon, the world-famous real estate baron is living proof that conspicuous consumption does not necessarily include a personal Fab Five.

EVERYTHING about Donald Trump turns me OFF! ICK! I have trouble imagining what kind of a person this show appeals to.

Ooops I said Nick instead of Bill in my prediction. Either way I was wrong LOL.
I think Troy made a big mistake that will come back to haunt him. Trump knew that Heidi had outperformed Kwame on that challenge. Troy should not have hesitated when asked to pick. He made it sound like he had picked Kwame out of loyalty instead of performance. Bad criteria. He should have made the tough call and ousted Kwame. I think that would have made a great impression with Trump because he knew they were good friends.
See you all next week!

I'm not sure I totally agree with you here. I don't see where Heidi or Kwame or even Troy for that matter performed very well in the taxi task. My guess was they were equally responsible and Troy would go because he was the team leader. I do agree that Troy made a mistake by not having a better reason to keep Kwame. He looked wishy washy. He could have said "It was close, but I think Kwame performed a tad bit better than Heidi" and then sent him up to the suite. They really sucked on that project. Even if you leave out the other team's advertising revenue, they still got beat 2-1 on taxi revenue. Of course they gave away $200 in bonuses, so that hurt as well.

Lots of Omarosa gems in this:
Heard on the Hill: Former Gore staffer and fired candidate on "The Apprentice," Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is contemplating a run for Congress or even 1600. However, she inflated her salary and her position with Gore in applying for another government job. Says one former top staffer, "You know the thing that bothers me the most about this is that we had a marvelous, committed, hard-working staff at the White House, and particularly in the VPs office. Now, because of that stupid TV show, who is the American public going to remember as having been on that staff? Omarosa, who was neither committed nor hard-working, and certainly not marvelous." Omarosa, who is raising money for the DNC, replies, "Im glad all of this stuff is coming out before I run for office.". . .

Judging by the aftermath of the Clinton administration ( something America will still be dealing with for years ) she seems about par for the course as Clintonroids go.

Was on vacation in Las Vegas (yes,I won) last week but still got to see the Heidi episode. Not surprised by the outcome. All the pedicabs in San Fran have advertising on them.
Promo for "Apprentice" looks like a retrospective episode. Was looking forward to a new "Aprentice" this week but now I'm not so sure.

More fun reading:
Fired Apprentice Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth hated by some of her fellow cast members got plenty of love Thursday at Ebony magazines awards luncheon.
Manigault-Stallworth, a guest, received hugs, kisses and requests for photos at the fifth annual event, which honors outstanding women in marketing and communications.
Among the honorees were CNN anchor Soledad OBrien, Fox Sports reporter Pam Oliver, BET Nightly News anchor Jacque Reid and television producer Suzanne de Passe.
Manigault-Stallworth, who was fired on March 4, was the most polarizing of the 16-member cast, frequently arguing with some of the other women on the NBC reality show, in which contestants vie for real estate mogul Donald Trumps favor and the dream job of a lifetime as his yearlong protege.
After her firing, the 30-year-old claimed former contestant Ereka Vetrini had called her the n-word. Vetrini has vigorously denied the allegation, as have executive producers Mark Burnett and Trump.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Manigault-Stallworth, a former political consultant, said her experience showed the problems of racism in corporate America.
Both of those gentlemen werent there, so I find it ironic that they would be so emphatic that something did not happen.
Vetrini has noted that contestants are taped constantly, and had such an incident occurred, it would have been caught on tape.
Believe me, I know what I experienced, Manigault-Stallworth said. Those women called me every name in the book on-camera. Imagine what they did off-camera. Imagine what they would say in the corridors.
Still, Manigault-Stallworth said she watches the show, which will end with a live two-hour finale on April 15. I may be the black sheep of that family, but Im certainly a part of that family.
Manigault-Stallworth is negotiating a book deal and a talk show, and is interested in doing political commentary for the upcoming presidential election.

Thanks for the reminder -- I keep almost forgetting.
Now things will be getting interesting, because there are so few left.
We should make wagers on who do we think is going to be the last 3, last 2, and the winner.
I'll make a guess/prediction after tonight's episode.

It looks like Omarosa is going to make a career out of playing the race card. I guarantee that NO contestants ever used the N-word around her. Would they be that stupid?
