And they gave Ann Coulter greef because she said an article about a NASCAR accident appeared two days after the accident, instead of one. Even after she acknowledged and corrected the error.

" and when did the American people start taking these comedians seriously?"I think the last two words of that line explains the whole thing. Comedians are not meant to be taken seriously.
The title of his book is so childish that it sounds like it was written by a village idiot. (I do think Franken's village will be without their village idiot until he returns.)

You know, it might be a fun subversive activity to print a number of copies of the homepage of "Frankenlies.com" and stuff one each inside the cover of Franken's book at the local Borders or Barnes & Noble.

Website points out falsehoods in liberal humorist's latest book Must be part of some vast right wing conspiracy. Franken was right. End sarcasm.
" and when did the American people start taking these comedians seriously?"
I think the last two words of that line explains the whole thing. Comedians are not meant to be taken seriously.
True. But the entertainment sometimes hijacks sitcoms and other comedy to 'send a message', soapboxing what they consider to be the 'only reasonable' position. Sadly, a lot of people get their idea of politics and the news from comedians and MTV. And we know (sneer) how fair and balanced that coverage is. People of this position are flabbergasted that Dubya is in office, after 8 yrs of their friend, X42. They are working overtime to get their point across.
