I am shocked.

I wish our wonderful country hadn't looked to lotteries to raise money. It's a disgusting way to run a country.

It's her personal life. It depends on what the definition of "bought" is. Let's move on.

Well, knock me over with a feather. It's simply hard to believe that anyone would compromise their public integrity for a lousy $162 million.

Battle had filed a police report saying she lost the ticket I can only presume she will be charged for filing a false police report.

Where are the people that were too stupid to see her for what she was and were calling the real winner all kinds of filth. I want them to come back here and grovel before us.

I blame the blood-sucking lawyer that did not thoroughly check out her claim.
It's bums like that that give lawyers a bad name!

Heh heh heh the skank finally admitted it, the pressure of the interview the other night and the reporter refuting her claims must have been too much.
I love it.

Ha, police officers! What a transparent attempt to buy some good will in the slammer.

Getting prepared for the *I wanted to win defense*.....or if that fails *I wanted to help the laid-off police officers defense*.....so far I only see a charge of filing a false police report.

Battle said she wanted to use the money to help her family and recently laid-off Cleveland police officers. Yeah, uh-huh. It was for those poor laid-off Police Officers.
She's not really a crackhead, she just had a rough night volunteering at the Police Benevolent Union...

what can we expect?
They use to throw gangsters in jail for running number games. Now the questions are:
Was it really Ok back then and we simply misread what should be legal or not?, or, are gangsters running our government?
Appears to be a bastard child of a corrupt parent.

A true piece of work, this lady. Her story was questionable from the start, but as soon as the real winner came forward she should have simply said "Oops, never mind" and faded into the background. Instead she had her lawyer file to prevent the lottery commission from awarding the winnings.
Charge her with the false report, brand her forever as an idiot and let her get on with raising her 7 lovely children. I'm sure they've learned a valuable lesson from this. (yeah, sarcasm)
