Same old cynical crap. Last summer, oh, just around Labor Day, there was a break in the pipe in Phoenix, and the power outage on the East Coast. Yep, just around Labor Day when lots of people are vacationing, and just in time to jack up gas prices to over 2 dollars a gallon. Must be the oil companies sending out the breaking crew to jack up prices in California some more.

A truck driver called into coast to coast last night saying that the call went out on the police scanner for the squad cars to go fill up thier tanks and he thinks someone listening started the panic. he said it got weird real quick. i dont live in arizona so i dont know much about the last gas hubalaloo.
the truck driver said that it just maybe that the guys in the field were bringing squad cars back in on empty so the dispatcher was told to tell everyone to fill em up before coming back to HQ.

I was driving home from work yesterday, saw a queue at a station and nearly did a double take. The only reason there was as bad a shortage last time was the widespread panic. When you see folks waiting in line to pay $5 bucks to top off. That's panic for you. Thank you Phoenix media...
