Again, though, which candidate will have the best activist base to counter what Dean will bring to bear in Florida?

Castor will arguably BENEFIT from having Dean's activists working for her. They'll be using that, I think, despite the failure in 2002 to make it stick to Jeb.

There is already a push to "re-defeat" Bush by a Democrats.com bigwig. So we're already dealing with angry "aggressive progressives" who will be focused on beating Bush and excited about Howard Dean.

Katherine Harris has the ability to counter that, IMO, which could be a plus.
