What sort of Pali propoganda are you being fed? The capture of Deir Yassin was during a war, one started by the Arabs. Do you think that the Arab pogroms of the 1920s, and their eagerness to help Hitler during the 1930s and early 1940s, just didn't happen? That Arabs from that village didn't participate in anti-Jewish riots, and weren't trafficking arms? That this didn't happen in the context of several Arab states promising to invade, to kill all the Jews, as soon as the British pulled out?
I suppose next we'll be hearing all about the Israeli 'atrocities' at Jenin?

I suppose next we'll be hearing all about the Israeli 'atrocities' at Jenin? I'm not alleging Israeli atrocities. I'm talking about Arab perceptions. Arab perceptions after Irgun/Stern Gang/Deir Yassin were primarily that it was, to say the least, a dicey proposition to stay and trust in the humanity of the Jews.
Their FEAR mixed with promises of outside Arab assistance caused the flight. Their FEAR was REAL. Outside "assistance" has manifested itself in many guises . . . even to today.
