Alameda is a sister county to San Fran county. Hope that helps. My brother was stationed in San Fran before he settled at the San Diego Naval base where he is now...that was about 17 years ago, I visited him there. There is and under the bay tunnel that he got some morbid pleasure in taking me in. I'm claustrophobic and acrophobic, so he took me on every bridge in the area. (smart ass) After my trip there they had the big earthquake where the 2 tier bridge collapsed and killed so many....that bridge we were on daily everytime we left his house. He lived 2 blocks from there.

Wow, I sure remember that earthquake. The two tiered highway became a car sandwich. It was awful!! And yes, that helps.
