It's too bad... when Buchanan led his brigadiers out of the Republican Party four years ago, he took away the only constituency in politics opposed to higher immigration. He took away good conservatives and stripped them of their voice, and now both Bush and the Democrats can ignore them.

Bush and the Demorats are ignoring them. Of course the result of this will be a definitive splitting of the pubbies. There will be a departure of more conservatives and if W waffles on any other issues, that will be the end.
