Sorry, but if you knew anything about economics, you'd know that people are capital, and if you don't have people, your economy will eventually stagnate. I respect the fact that you live in Mississippi so therefore a prosperous economy is not something you really care about or even want, but the rest of this country does. I actually see good in the immigration plan.

In 1986 Congress promised the American people that there would never be another amnesty. Mr. Bush knows that and should never ask the American people or Congress to support another one. The last amnesty in 1986 has done nothing but harm this country and another one will make the situation worse.

This is so false, it's sad. I doubt you really believe it though and are just looking for something to say to support your anti-immigrant position. Cheaper labor exists because people are willing to work where others are not. Not only do the immigrants make more than where they came from, but the business owners make more as well creating a more competitive pricing environment (as well as a better investments market) which strengthens the real wages of everyone else in the area. Sorry, Coach, I don't want your radical federal government totalitarianism. Thankfully, neither do most Americans, and our great conservative President realizes this.
