Well I can see that this thread is already being heavily moderated. Maybe we are in another country already. Why the ban on criticism of Bush on here? I voted and worked for his campaign for 2 years. He is screwing us today. Yet my comments are removed?

You KNOW for a fact that I am a long time supporter and poster here at FR. The title of the thread should have remained. My comments being removed were another slap in the face. Jim...you know damn well this is selling America out. President Bush should be called Senor Bush for his actions today and pandering and catering to Mexico. If ANYTHING I am being a true conservative here.

Why the pulling of titles and posts? C'mon...let us have some free speech here.

I too voted for Bush the first time around, and campaigned HEAVILY for Bush/Cheney. The daily betrayals of conservatism (and indeed, our constitution) have really hit me hard. I truly thought that I was working to elect a conservative.

I thought that a GOP majority in House and Senate and a GOP president would usher in a new age of conservativism. But this amnesty proposal is a slap in the face to not just conservatives, but every American citizen.

You ask why the ban on criticism, and your comments being removed. It's the same reason both new and old-time FReepers are suddenly being banned, and we've been warned not to be too controversial on immigration threads. It's the same reason people who speak out for conservative principles are being labeled DU trolls, and attacked for raising legitimate concerns. You know the reason.

Well - I for one admire your willingness to speak your mind. Please keep it up.

Yeah, right. I haven't seen a single blast at Bush here all day. There is more free exchange on this site than any other; certainly far more than DU. For what it's worth I'd like to see most of the Bush bashers head on over to DU. Why, after a dozen or so stabs at Bush, they might sneak in some free exchange over there!
