Yeah, it will pass--but NOT because Congress represents the people who elected them.

Let's see how far we get with determining that going forward, the self-employed should only contribute THREE percent to Social Security instead of 15%.

What the hell-we'd get all the 'cash-only' SE's in the country to sign right up, right? We'd ID them for future reference. We'd know everything we needed to know.

No more 'cash under the table/bartering' schemes for these characters.

Like that plan, Arne? Because you pay the difference in YOUR Social Security contribution, just like Californians pay it in their hospital bills.

I'm okay with any reform of the SSI system. It's a Ponzi scheme. The "third rail" is no politician having the guts to tell Grammy she's been jobbed.

I contacted Jeff Harrison, Karin Hope and Lani Kuwamura - the LDs for my Congressional reps Coleman, Ramstad and Dayton - to communicate my support for this thing. This proposal is a solid start to getting the Illegal Immigration mess fixed now and going forward.
