No, the idea is to begin nudging the 12 million illegals into legalizing their status in one way or another. Among other positive benefits doing so reduces the incentive to participate in illegal voting for Democrats. So long as conservatives and Republicans propose to keep them illegal and try to round them up, the logical response would be to help liberals and Democrats steal more elections by voting illegally. After all what are you proposing we do if we catch them at it? Deport them twice?

There is nothing, not one thing in Bush's amnesty that prevents or dissuades the millions behind the millions we already have here from coming.
