If one had told a returning vet from WW II that abortion would be legalized in less than 30 years he would have thought you were suffering shell shock. My point being that your claim that "some crimes will never be legalized" is bupkis.

Well, you jumped from point a to point z in a flash. You knew full well that I was referring to your rape statement and not to abortion because it is not a crime today to have an abortion. I agree that abortion is a national shame but we would be far better off educating against it instead of criminalizeing it...same is true of the amnesty issue in my opinion.
