You really are sadly handicapped by the indoctrination you have been stuffed with through the years. I don't care if they are purple with green spots. They are uneducated third world handicaps and growing in number. You imply that I am a racist because I object to their economic impact and their disinterest in the future of this nation and Constitution, and yet you give the Fed a free pass on it's racism, or worse you are blind to it?
Perot said we would hear a giant sucking sound of American jobs leaving the nation with NAFTA, I could welcome that sound if it originated from the sound of American citizens pulling their heads out of their backsides. The Fed is so racist against native born Americans that they are in a mad rush to overrun, rob, and marginalize us. Now that is racism pal.
If your kids are white or asian in this nation they already suffer a twenty point disadvantage on their SAT's, now that is racism pal. That I refuse to cower in a corner for fear of being called racist, that I recognize the agenda going on against us and dare to object out loud makes me smarter than the average "compassionate" sucker born every minute, not racist. But you go ahead and throw that lame little tool around. It will only bounce off my steely determination.

Thanks Doug . This time I'll keep it .

I missed your post 1197, so here is your answer. When 9-11 happened and we had military on the border the traffic across it almost came to a complete stop.
You throw up your hands before any attempt to halt the massive influx and say, well big deal, throw out the welcome mat. What a plan, what a responsible genius.
Any halt in the flow is better than no halt at all. I am sure our troops will have a few shoot outs with mexican military that guards drug shippers across our own territory. Those few deserved deaths alone will cut the flow by a huge margine.
You seem very busy, to me, throwing up road blocks to any attempt or suggestions to stop this invasion, now why is that? So far you have implied that my desire to control our borders makes me a women and children killing racist. I have a few names for you myself, but in the interest of keeping a civil and unpulled thread, I'll forego those names and just say that your agenda has become obvious.

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Now awaiting the removal of my post due to new FR2004 guidelines (which I have yet to understand).

Anyone who is physically and mentally able to work (and of age) should do so before taking a handout from the government. Period. Unfortunately, 100% of Democrat and 75% of Republican elected politicians and 90% of appointed judges do not share this view.

Mark this date on your calendar. This could very well be the day that GWB lost the election of 2004. Desevedly so.Yep, this is the equivalent of Bush 41 raising taxes after promising not to.
If Rove thinks that he will gain more hispanic votes than NASCAR dad and Reagan Democrat votes he will lose,he has made a very stupid mistake
This will infuriate million of conservatives just as it has people on this forum

[Illegals have been depressing wages for a long time.]
Really? I thought it was the consumer voting with his dollars that drove market forces...silly me...
RiflemanSharpe is right -- which, sadly, makes you wrong. If the supply of labor increases, the price of labor (wages) decreases, assuming constant demand. You are correct about one thing -- this IS of course driven by market forces. It seems the economics behind the market you do not as yet understand. Might I recommend "The Wealth Of Nations" (Adam Smith) for your library.

This is my first and last comment on ANY thread about illegal aliens, I hope you reconsider. This topic is in dire need of serious debate. The post you responded to was deleted, due to insulting sophomoric content.

It seems the economics behind the market you do not as yet understand. Drop dead. I read Wealth of Nations twice.
Illegals do not depress wages. You are wrong and so is Riflemen. Wages are neither depressed nor inflated. They just are what the market says they should be. In order for somthing to be depressed it has to have some arbitrary zero from which its depressed
Who put you in charge of what is right and fair? I got a clue for you too....Whatever you pay for somthing is exactley what it is worth at that moment in time. If you bought MSFT at 10 bucks was its price depressed when you bought it? If you bought MSFT at 50 bucks was its price inflated? Of course not...it was worth exactley what you paid for it. Figure it out
Let me know when you hire a union laborer for 40 bucks an hour to dig up your bushes at your home. Until then you live in denial, hypocrisy or both.
Your arguement is like blaming the candy store for your toothache...that may make sense to you...but its ridiculous top me.

So conservatives can't stand fast in the face of opposition? Argumentum makes one strongerum. I failed Latin, as you can tell. :O)

GW has the election pretty much locked-up, but he can't resist the urge to buy the taco vote at any price. GWB: "Screw the country, as long as I'm re-elected. Sure they feel bad, because they don't understand the beauty of the "New world Order". But it's for their own good. Blah, blah, blah."
Moral of the story:
1) Never fall in love with a politician.
2) They are ALL in favor of the "New World Order", which is socialism uber alles.
3) Buy lots of guns and ammunition. You will need it.

Then I would be paying $8 for a Value meal. Simple market economics if there is no one available to do the work for $3 an hour then they have to offer $4 and so on. This continues to a point until someone is hired, the cost of labor is then passed to the customer. There you said it. THE COST OF LABOR IS PASSED ON.Fifteen years ago, here in Iowa, families were being supported by the wages of one man at a packing plant. I had several classmates whose father's drove 90 miles round trip every day to work there. They owned homes, had a couple of older-model cars, and health benefits. They paid income and property taxes, and were not a net drain on society.
Now, they recruit illegals, pay them eight dollars an hour with no benefits. They pay no property taxes, pay no income taxes (even if they file...they don't make enough), use the emergency rooms as "free clinics", and have necessitated the hiring of ESL teachers and police to patrol the hallways of the schools (in small town Iowa, no less).
YOUR TASK: Explain why hamburger was not $20/pound fifteen years ago.
Hint: The farmers make no more money for their product, the grocers work on thinner margins...that leaves.....

If your arguments against the president's proposals are typical, then I am correct in never posting to these threads, which I find in the main filled with acrimony and baseless insults, and devoid of reason and discourse.
You have that right.

just pointing out the reality that there are 45,000,000 less American workers today because of abortion. Yep. 45M fewer American born. 20M illegal immigrants. Tell me that this doesn't make a difference.

Thats right they don't....at least in construction around where I live.
Construction labor rates has increased steadily year over year, despite the so called scourge of illegals...
Unskilled labor runs about 10-12 bucks cost before comp and taxes and liability....which is 4-6 bucks over minimum wage...
Two years ago they were getting 8-10 bucks...and a few years before that 6-8 bucks...it keeps ticking up
Journy men skilled carpenters now get 30-40 bucks...up from 25-30 a few years back....
Further, white kids don't want the work. I know this from first hand experience. If it wasnt for the Hispanics, construction would cost you twice the money, and only half the production would be possible.
I know all of this from when I owned and ran a construction company employing from 15-25 people.
The problem is that for whatever reason they choose to cross the river, rather than the toll booth border crossing.
I don't condone illegals...I say the goverment has created this problem by either making it so damn hard to get a work permit...or somthing....
Blanket amnesty? NO Way!...But you people have to wake up and realize...the crap that gets turned out of our local public highschools does not want to work with their hands...they want the soft jobs like a clerks job, or some tech job....the average white kid in California is a worthless POS when it comes to actually working and sweating and doing construction work.
Part of this is that everyone starts as a dirt laborer...no matter who they are...and these kids think themselves above that...
Give me a Hispanic over a California white boy 9 ways to Sunday....
Now...figure out how to let them in legally in sufficient numbers...cause we need em..
