Ouch, I'm just trying to lighten the mood. Besides, I'm getting snockered myself.
To: WackyKat
I probably should. He hit the button on me earlier, because I called someone a 'goofball'. What a loser.
To: RockyMtnMan
If you make more then a price increase has little effect on your overall quality of life.WE HAVE A WINNER!!! So why the @#$$ do you think simply putting in a minimum wage would help our standard of living? It simply makes things cost more, and helps us in no way. It hurts us because there are STILL jobs that aren't worth more than $3 an hour. There is no "rule" that a job should pay enough to live off of. That has nothing to do with it.

To: RockyMtnMan
Oh, so THAT'S why you're so happy!
To: sfRummygirl
That's me 'goofball' is so extreme. </sarcasm> LOL!
To: Texaggie79
Your lunk-headed ignorance has exceeded my interest in continuing to dialogue with you.
Your goal is obviously to drive down wages in this country until we no longer need immigration from Mexico because we will have become Mexico.
Fortunately, there is still a core of Americans who care about their fellow citizens and wish to see them have decent lives
You only see other Americans as objects to be exploited at the lowest possible cost

Leave it for ALL to see just what a BushBot will do, what contortions they will make to justify any message from "Fearless Leader"! These are the self-appointed guardians of all that is GWB on FR, and this kind of stuff shows them to be the fools I suspected they were!
I have supported GWB..up till now, that is! If this proposal does ANYTHING more than flop to the ground DEAD, GWB will follow in daddy's footsteps of failure...and we do NOT need that now!

(The avalanche has already started...it is too late for the pebbles to vote!)
To: RockyMtnMan
Yeah, isn't that just awful? I really feel bad about it. Yikes.
To: Itzlzha
I won't. I have only hit the button once on someone, and I actually kinda like him now, anyway. ;-)
To: sfRummygirl
Happy is as happy does. I am however unhappy with Bush's proposal.
To: RockyMtnMan
Happy is as happy does. I am however unhappy with Bush's proposal.
Then make one of your own.
To: Cultural Jihad
Stiff penalties to businesses who hire illegals. Make the cost of hiring illegals bad business. They'll "run for the border" once the cash cow leaves the pasture.
To: RockyMtnMan
I am usually a very giddy person, too. I think I am here tonight trying to find some hope. But I don't think I will find any about this situation right away.
I love my country so much. I just feel so much loss.

Well, I'm going to try your suggestion now;-)...catch ya later...
To: RockyMtnMan
Stiff penalties!?
To: primeval patriot
This new system will be more compassionate. Yes. Neo-Republican-Compassion means open the borders, 100 million immigrants arrive, we all end up making $2.75/hr and living in 500 sqft apartments, but everythings equal.

I've been feeling the same for quite some time, this just accelerates my fear that we no longer have a representative government. They pass laws knowing full well the only way to challenge them is to break them and do time until the court decides otherwise. They also do so knowing that the laws are not constitutional in the first place (which is a direct violation of their oath of office). Who among us has the time or resources to challenge this new form of tyranny?
ALL laws should derive their power from the constitution and if they can't do that then they should pass an Amendment. Anything else is the gradual erosion of our liberties. In ten years I shudder to think what laws will be on the books.

Ping us all when your hopeless fantasy becomes a reality.
To: Revel
BTW. I was not even thinking of voting for a dem. There are two other choices. A good 3rd party candidate would be great, But I don't even know as there is one.
