How about those heart surgeries for illegals? Bet that dwarf's the cost of little Pedro's public education ten fold and you and I pick up the cost in the form of taxes. Their mear existence here is a huge economic drain and that's why Vicente likes Bush's plan.
What makes the Fox happy make me nervous.

Show me one area of our nation where the standard of living is going down?
Even our ghettos have 3 TV houses with 2 cars.

Excuse me? Do you plan on having me pulled again like you did earlier, or are you asking me something serious?

I've made zero donations and I never will . Doug ? I suspect this proposal has some potential and that it will be another ledger Conservative's will have to eat .
I dont like it either based on the basic premise . Give it a couple of days .
John ? The man says he likes the streets . You still happen to have that pic of Doug in PB with the Loserman sign ? Fricking classic !

I have never given up before. But I honestly don't see a way out. Do you? How many children have you borne for the future of our culture, language, and workforce?
So your answer is for sfRummygirl to pump out babies to counter the flood of ILLGAL INFILTRATORS across our borders?
Wow, and you have the GALL to accuse me of Racism and Hatred? Nice solution!
Folks like you have SURRENDERED our birthright, I propose that we LEGAL Americans take it BACK! WHATEVER the cost...WHATEVER the means necessary!

To: Itzlzha
It was completely obnoxious of him to ask me that.
To: sfRummygirl
Then get snockered and "play" with your hubby!! I guarentee it'll put a smile on your face.
To: Cultural Jihad

To: RockyMtnMan
If the lowest wage job in the country was $6 flipping burgers at McD's, Then I would be paying $8 for a Value meal. Simple market economics if there is no one available to do the work for $3 an hour then they have to offer $4 and so on. This continues to a point until someone is hired, the cost of labor is then passed to the customer. There you said it. THE COST OF LABOR IS PASSED ON. How the HELL will we solve anything by forcing the consumer to pay more? THAT is where we go into trouble. When MORE resources our spent on products and services than before, then our economy will be going backwards. When you have people willing to work for less, that means that frees up more resources for the rest of us. Now sure, you can get mad if you flip burgers for a living, but your refusal to get educated and change with our economy is your fault and you will suffer for it.

yeah....I just can't believe my country is going away, though. Can't quite get in the mood right now. I feel like a friend just died, ya know?
To: RockyMtnMan
Whether you like it or not we live in a Christian society. We gladly spend millions of dollars every year to go out and rescue some skiers who willfully ignored warning signs and got themselves lost in the mountains somewhere and would have died otherwise. We do this because we embrace the Judeo-Christian ethic which values human life as something worth saving.

Show me one area of our nation where the standard of living is going down? Research the statistics; the wages of blue-collar workers today are lower than they were in 1973-those workers have been going backwards for 30 years principally because of the policies advocated by people like you
Aren't you proud of yourself?
To: WackyKat
Hardly so, just pointing out the reality that there are 45,000,000 less American workers today because of abortion.
To: sfRummygirl
It was completely obnoxious of him to ask me that.I agree, and if it had been posted to me, I would have hit the abuse button

I asked about standard of living. Are we living worse off than we were 20, 30 years ago?

Prices are relative to prevailing wage. If burger Joe makes $8 instead of $6 then accountant Jane makes $40k instead of $35k. If you make more then a price increase has little effect on your overall quality of life. As Einstein would say, it's all relative. :-)
