And I guess your answer is to look the other way when people break our laws. How about this - do you think that allowing these 8 million people to stay here will help the middle class? Do you think that it raises the level of income or artifically keeps wages low? Do you think taxes to support these people will come from the UN? Are these people vaccinated against disease? Are you comforatable with them preparing your food? Do you know how to speak spanish - because if you dont you better learn how - in Tucson there are many areas where you cant do business without speaking spanish. How about if your in a car accident with an illegal do you really think they will pay? Where is there allegence, they do not have to take any test on American history or our government, do you really believe they care one iota about you and your family's welfare or supporting this nation? Think hard before you give your allengance to Bush who is no different than Clinton when it comes to his elitist actions.

I in fact have a much more moderate attitude toward illegals than many here. I don't want to mine the border or line them up and shoot them. I don't have a real good solution. It might even turn out that what Bush is proposing will be best.

My main point was that this APPEARS to be yet another in a long line of what would seem to be very UN-conservative actions aimed solely or primarily at getting re-elected. Clinton did it when he co-opted conservative issues like welfare reform. Do we really want Bush co-opting Democrat ideas, especially when they expand big government?

Cut off ALL benefits to illegal aliens while at the same start cracking down hard on companies that hire illegal aliens, and the illegal aliens will then start "deporting" themselves.
