I agree. I trust President Bush. I believe that any large scale effort to throw illegal workers out of the country is politically impossible. I also believe in the spirit of allowing honest hard working people to live here. Of course, if Bush's policy is adopted, I would hope that we would also strengthen our borders to prevent further illegal immigration.
The stupid PC police, and Ted Kennedy in particular made damn sure that we open our boarders to people of different race/color/religion. That demand in itself helped destroy the fabric of America, as we know it. If we continue down this road, we are going to keep diluting this society until we are the minority.
We need to actively train our own underclass instead of importing low wage employee to shut them out of job opportunities. American need more money for subsistant living than third world country immigrants (legal or illegal).
