Stupid White Men was the bestselling non-fiction hardback in Britain last year after the Atkins New Diet Revolution; it's now top of the paperback list. Bowling for Columbine, the feature-length documentary in which Moore blames a high school massacre on the Republicans, won an Oscar.

This seems to skip lightly over the fact that what Bowling for Columbine and Stupid White Men are both works of fiction, not documentary and nonfiction as they are erroneously labeled. Why, Mr. Moore, are you afraid to label your "work" accurately?

"The American right used to dismiss Moore's material as unfunny agit prop, unworthy of attention. That is not quite fair. Bowling for Columbine is a brilliantly constructed documentary; it's hard not to cheer when Moore embarrasses the Kmart chain into banning the sale of live ammunition to teenagers."

Road apples.

Disclaimer: I have not seen BFC. Only read about it. You'd probably have to pay me to sit through it.

"A documentary maker, Michael Wilson, has been following Moore, badgering him for an interview - just as Moore used to do to bloated chief executives. But Moore isn't talking."

Good. Good, good, good! Give him a taste of his own medicine.

Ha! good one!
Yeah these lefties have an inpenetratable shield of very low moral expectations which allows them to say and do anything. They're a unique combination of false prophet and hypocrite.
Like you said, the white Jesse Jacksons. ha!

Excellent post. Moore is yet another in a long line of people the leftists have, through their support, made wealthy. The funny thing is I always thought the left loathed wealth. According to their dogma, aren't we all supposed to be equal?

Call Moore what you will, but he's duped a bunch of the Leftists out of their money with his lies......again! Idiots.

Dude, Where's My Country? is Michael Moore's "most sophisticated critique to date of American foreign policy"?

Isn't that what you call "damning with faint praise"?

BTW, here is a link to the website of the aforementioned Michael Wilson, who is making a documentary on Moore (click on the picture):

another reason to abandon cable (if your provider is TW)

Would that be the cable company that tells customers there are no available channels for Fox News in so many markets, but finds bandwidth for CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, CNN/FN, CNN Headline News, etc. etc?

I got the Idiana Jones trilogy on DVD for christmas. Made me sick to see Moore listed as 1st Unit Director for Raiders'. That was the only good one of the three.

I believe that was a different Michael Moore...if I'm not mistaken, the 4th bonus disc has an interview with him.

I thought the same thing myself, but was relieved when I saw it was a different person.
