And did you witness this when you served in Kosovo? Did you see it with your own eyes? Did the killings occur when you were there and the Serb forces were long gone? So you can confirm that Albanians did kill their own people? Were some of the victims civilians?

Joan good to hear from you. To answer your questions yes. I have seen and know about Albanian Civilians killed by other Kosovar Albanians. Once case involved a girl who was last seen leaving forcefully with a KLA member. She was found dead in a ditch a few days later. Two Kosovar Albanian about 20 years of age were dumped near the Pristina UNMICK police station in 1999. Both had been shot to death. Then their is my old friend Besim Mala who was trying to take over a bar belonging to another non KLA Albanian. This fellows brother saw Mala hitting his brother with a pistol butt, walked over and promptly put a bullit through Mala's brain. A lot of organized crime filled the void when the Serbs left taking over every bit of real-estate that could be had. Albanians killed each other in some instances over this.
