Team owner Daniel Snyder made a pitch to Gibbs on Monday and he accepted the job on Tuesday and went right to work hiring Williams. The team is also interested in talking with former Oakland Raiders head coach Bill Callahan for its offensive coordinator position.

Thaty's a little worrisomeconsidering how much the Raiders' players allegedly loathed the man, but I trust Gibbs to assemble a very talented staff of coaches as he always did in the past.
