Agree, and Vermiel proved you can go home again. But pairing the most beloved Redskin (except for maybe Jurgensen) and the most disliked (Snyder) gives me mixed feelings. I've found it hard to root for the team since the money-grubbing Snyder took over (Steinbrenner without the wins), even though I attend the games.
I, for one, believe Snyder's heart is in the right place, and he's apparently maintained cordial relationships with both Sonny and Gibbs. Sure, Snyder's exceptionally naive about what it takes to win in the NFL, but his utmost respect fer Gibbs will help to keep his meddling to a minimum, imho...MUD
