I asked you to name 20 players who were renegades on Cowboy teams.

You didn't even name one.

And name another team that has consistently had as many players, over the decades, in trouble with the law as the Cowboys.

The New York Yankees.

Gee, give me some time to compile the list! I stopped after perusing the first 33 pages of search results from Google, and that was only with one search (Dallas Cowboy arrest). So, here you are:

DB Dwayne Goodrich, felony manslaughter after killing two people while driving through an accident scene at 110 mph, Jan. 2003

OL Nate Newton, arrested with 213 lbs of marijuana in November 2001, and then with 175 lbs the following month

DL Harvey Martin, arrested after a crack binge for assaulting his girlfriend, Aug. 1996, his third arrest in five months for the same crime

WR Lance Rentzel, arrested for exposing himself to a 10-year old girl, November 1970

PK Rafael Septien, arrested for sexually assaulting a 10-year old girl, January 1987

WR Bob Hayes served 10 months in jail for selling drugs following his arrest in 1979

DL Larry Bethea was arrested for assaulting his estranged wife in 1986, then charged for stealing $64,000 from his mother’s home, then committed suicide in April 1987

OL Mark Tuinei, found dead from a heroin overdose in his car less than a year after being cut from the team, after spending a night on the town with Cowboy reserve FB Nicky Sualua, May 1999

LB Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson, arrested and charged with sexual assault and false imprisonment after exchanging crack for sex with two minors, one of whom was wheelchair-bound

Coach Barry Switzer arrested for trying to board an aircraft with a loaded revolver, August 1997

WR Michael Irvin with several arrests, the most famous one involving a retired Dallas player, two "self-employed models," and a great deal of cocaine and marijuana, and a fight in training camp in which he slashed Everitt McIver's throat, and the victim was paid off by Owner Jerry Jones to stay quiet

Emmitt Smith, arrested for drunk driving

Owner Jerry Jones, arrested for fleeing the scene while a police officer was still writing a ticket

DL Leon Lett, with five violations of the NFL substance abuse policy and suspensions totaling over twenty games

RB Sherman Williams, arrested for conspiracy in a counterfeiting and drug trafficking ring, April 2000

LB Darren Hambrick, arrested for resisting arrest after being pulled over for speeding

WR Alvin Harper, arrested while in possession of two stolen vehicles

OL Erik Williams avoided trial by settling out of court with a 17-year old girl after allegations of sexual assault

RB Larry Brown, a former Super Bowl MVP, was released from jail after agreeing to pay back $44,000 in bad checks he had written to several Las Vegas casinos

CB Clayton Holmes, suspended for drug abuse, 1995

CB Dexter Clinkscale was charged with sexually assaulting an 18-year old man, April 1998

Now, show me a list of 21 players from another NFL team charged with manslaughter, large-scale drug trafficking, sexual assault of minors and 18-year old boys, etc. I know that not all of these arrests occured during their playing days in Dallas, but it does show a pattern of Cowboys' players character.
