Can someone give us an update on the civil rights commision status? I remember we followed it pretty intensely when they were trying to "seat" a black conservative appointed by Bush and Berry said some other lady had to fill out the term instead. I think that guy finally won in court to get seated but whats happening now?
When do other dem terms expire?
When does Berry's?
THANKS!!!

And let me add that Berry's endorsement of Clark does not surprise me. Clark represents the Clintons and Berry owes much to the Clintons.

When Berry's term ends is a matter of debate. The Grey Book (or some similar name I can not remember) lists the starting and ending dates for all appointed federal officals terms. It lists her term as ending on a date in December that I can not remember. But, on Berry's papers she lists her end date as the day AFTER inaguration, 2005.
Either way, she is done at the end of this term.
Hopefully. Though I have little to no faith that President Bush was ashcan her at the end of her term. I am willing to make a wager that he does not.
