Smoking Gun police report on the lotto complaint.
She picked the winning 12-18-21-32-46-49 numbers by:
- One son's b-day is 12/18/03 == 12 - 18
- 21 for luck == 21
- other son is 23 years old (switch 23 -> 32) == 32
- sister was born in 1964 (another switch 64 -> 46) == 46
- husband turns 49 this year == 49

I think just about anyone could whip together reasoning behind these numbers.

This means nothing. Isn't there a way for the lottery to check and see if those numbers were played previously on that store machine (or nearby locations) in previous weeks?
Between the two parties, wouldn't one have at least one previous ticket somewhere with those numbers? (buried in a drawer, in a purse, etc.)?

18 units in a dozen and half = 18
been collecting welfare since 21 = 21
drinks 1 quart [32 ounces] of beer/day = 32
slept with 46 men = 46
coke makes her look like 49 = 49
ROFL!

I'm not buying this woman's story about how she picked her numbers. If I took the birthdays, birthyears, and ages of everybody in my family, and had the option of inverting them, I could come up with just about any combination of numbers I wanted. And any leftover numbers, I could use "for luck" as this woman did.

I'm amazed she didn't pick the number 19. ;) WHY would she change 23 to 32? That doesn't make any sense. The 64 to 46 is a bit more believeable. Goofy. So this woman is out buying lottery tickets 12 days after giving birth? 12/18/03. This is a crock of doo doo............

My daughter's age x2 = 12, my grandfather turns 81 next year (reverse of 18), my sister turns 21 in April, my brother's favorite Steeler is Franco Harris (jersey # 32), 46 are the last two digits of our second phone line reversed, and Nickelodeon is channel 49 on our lineup.
What do I win? :)
