I'm 29; already hardened and cynical to the claims of the snake-oil salesman that run the DC-tax regime.

Some believe that our safety lies in wars 10,000 miles away; I believe our safety begins with a well-armed citizenry and a decentralized government.

Do you really think the poor folks on the planes that struck WTC and the Pentagon would have just sat there hoping it was 'just a hijacking' if anyone of them had been armed? Or what if the populace was made aware that for the 10 years prior, the central intelligence apparatus knew that 'radical Islam' was planning to use commercial passenger planes as missiles? Me personally, I believe they would have behaved as heroically as Todd Beamer or like the passengers who subdued the Shoebomber-- regardless if they were liberals or conservative.

That is simply what American's do; it is part of who we are.

And while its bad enough that not one paper shuffler from the DC-tax regime resigned or had a pension strip for the utter incompetence that led to 9/11, otherwise patriotic conservatives have signed on for a meaningless debt financed war, that leaves the country even more vulnerable to those who would do us harm, like a China that holds enough US debt to at the least, turn an election

Dark days indeed.

i guess the facts that most of the planet ows us money, yet we still send more and supplies each year. china may have some of our money owed, but china's allies owe us as well. as for a war in debt, most wars have resulted in an economic upturn. playing the market is a keystone to most conservative platforms, this is one of their principles. these days are no darker than any other, and it also holds the promise of further prosparity and safety because of our "debt-funded" wars.

people have been trying to tell me you cant spend out of a debt. these people usually forget the word "investment"
