I'm saying if you know the man really loves you, slaves at work, treats you right in other respects, not just like a "Let's have sex" while your cleaning the litter box.

Truth is stranger than fiction; nowadays there are few sarcastic comments so over-the-top that nobody has ever said them seriously.

"Let's have sex" while your cleaning the litter box.

Sounds like two birds with one stone to me.

The treadmill as punishment?
Small dogs don't bother me much.
They give me trouble I can usually grab them and wrap them up in my coat.
*chuckle*
I was bitten in the face by a German Shepard when I was little, so larger dogs tend to make me edgy.
Though I have had a few truces with a handful of large dogs.
(For some reason, they then seem to think I'm the "play" guy.)

Just look at the latest Diamonds commercial on tv and that says it all. He buys here a big overpriced ring, and she says "I love this man" as she seems to be having an orgasm while she hugs him. I have never, nor will ever, see an equivalent where a women gets a man like a gun or a

James Dobson has a book out for men. I forget the title. . . let me see if I can find it.

What Wives Wish Their Husbands Knew About Women
by: James C. Dobson
November, 1988

Amazon.com's Price: $5.99
Amazon.com prices subject

I think he's updated it since 1988.

I hope to post something else in the midst of these issues before the day is out . . .

I'm sorry but Dr. Laura sometimes dishes out advice that is way too harsh IMHO. You mark my words. One of these days someone is going to get seriously hurt as a result of her advice. She orders people around without any knowledge or concern for deep hurts and wounds in people's hearts. Her flip comments and orders are to be feared. That's my take on it. Yes, she does a lot of good when it comes to simple every-day silly problems. But once in a while a pathetic hurting soul calls in and gets yelled at or ordered to do something that may backfire. I think it's a dangerous business. Dr. Laura is NOT God Almighty. She doesn't know the true heart of any caller.

"My only point is that Dr. Laura is being a bit disingenous to make such a blanket statement that men don't need a book. I love men, and believe me, they need a book, too."

Great book for both men and women "The Five Love Languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman.

I don't know of any woman who would react that way. The only thing I can see is possibly the difference in the way they are both expressing their love for each other - he's yelling it, she's saying it quietly. I think the media puts too much emphasis on diamonds as a symbol for love.

The problem is that for men to understand women on some things goes against their very nature of practicality and rationality in the sense that a sane man can't understand that insane, a practical man can't understand that utterly impractical. Etc.
