There are few politicians for which Chuck Baldwin would have more contempt than the former Southern Baptist Jimmy Carter. Baldwin was a former Moral Majority organizer in FL. I don't know when he broke with the GOP.

Baldwin is like Joe McCarthy. McCarthy hounded the Truman administration, then continued his attacks after Eisenhower took office. The Republicans thought that McCarthy would lighten up after Eisenhower was inaugurated. Instead, McCarthy claimed Ike was not cleaning up the Truman record on communist subversion. The end result was the censure of McCarthy, arranged behind the scenes by both native Texans Dwight Eisenhower and Lyndon Johnson. Baldwin of course has no national stature like McCarthy, but his attacks remind me of McCarthy. In fact, he is MORE fiery than McCarthy was. Often, it was McCarthy himself who was the victim of what the liberals called "McCarthyism."

I don't think the word "Conspiracy" has come out of Limbaugh's or his lawyer's lips to date. And the maid and her petty con man and convicted drug trafficker husband are not exactely reliable witnessess.

I have been really flaming on RL lately because of his hypocrisy surrounding all this but this article has too many gratuitous assertions to be taken seriously. The guy needs to come up with some examples of what he is accusing RL of saying.

rush edited another story today, but it was OK, it was just to make a joke...

about the tomato soup study... bowls rigged up to keep filling, and bowls that didn't. point being people didn't even realize how much they were eating.

but he left out 98% of the story and just said the gov't spent a bunch of money to say that eating too much makes you fat. I guess he thinks no one else reads the newswires.

actually its not ok that it was a joke. he can say what he wants, but he crosses the line when he exploits tomato soup.

I think UpChuck Baldwin is trying to spin a little story here. Rush DOES get hot sometimes, but he's just about the most receptive guy I've ever heard on a top-ranked program. Compare any of the screaming liberals to Rush and the golden microphone will always win the day in a fair contest.

Come now...Rush is a victim of a heartless conniving maid, a vicious conspiracy of the left to chastise him, and a dark conspiracy by McNabb to make Rush look like a jackass. The press is in league against him and the democrats have a filthy plan to subvert Rushes rights via underhanded means.
