If that shot had been in sharp focus, and a little tighter on the President and the little girl, it would have been number 1. I argued with myself (didn't lose any arguments) about the two, and finally decided to go with the one of him shaking hands with the child.
I also argued about the one with the President with the little girl with her hand raised behind him - I loved that she was either trying to get his attention or mimicing him.
I agree with everyone here who has said that he's great with children. He is so natural with them, and I think that that's because he's real, and he just acts that way with them, and they know it; they know he's being genuine with them.
Gosh, I love this President. I would so like to know him as a personal friend. Sigh. Big sigh.

Truthy, you never need to argue with yourself about pictures of our wonderful President! Each of you (who post the pictures) always choose outstanding ones!
I would love to know both he and Laura personally. I bet they'd be easy to get to know.

I think all the pictures of our President are number one. They're all just in random order.
Many have expressed that President and Mrs. Bush would be great with grandkids. You can't doubt that when you see the two of them and how they interact with all these kids.

"Gosh, I love this President. I would so like to know him as a personal friend. Sigh. Big sigh." My fantasy too.....or even his wife, as a friend, or his mother, or his father....LOL.
