"Wallace voters were, well, white guys with Confederate flags"

My college buddy Josh was in Laurel, Maryland one day in 1972 holding a "Down with Wallace" sign.

All of a sudden Wallace got shot by Arthur Bremer.

Josh said he felt very bad standing there with that sign.
