Sorry for the late response...but I'm in total agreement about Metallica and especially Slayer. They're my favorite thrash band (I've seen them 10 times). I won't get in the mosh pit anymore...getting too old to keep up with the kids. A conservative Slayer fan...I thought I was the only one!

No way, Slayer to me represents good old fashion values, in the heavy metal sense. They kept true to their principles, never sold out for the money, and work very hard for their fans. Metallica, geez, I can't even listen to Master of Puppets or AJFA without cringing of what they have become! And yes, I am conservative. Don't laugh, I went to a Slayer concert and the average age was probably near 30.
