And if there are deserters out there, there has to be a way to handle this that can protect the innocent families who have suffered all these years.

Families who in reality have given so much for this country.

Their loved ones may have been sniveling cowards, but their families waiting here at home in AGONY and GRIEF all these years sure weren't.

Those cowards sicken me, but their families make me proud. I don't think they deserve any shame. So I wish to God there was a way we could protect them from further harm. They deserve that much.

Yet I think "deserters" deserve punishment. To the fullest extent.

My heart goes out to the families of any deserters we ever find.
