Illegal aliens who commit violent crimes and illegal aliens who do not commit violent crimes in the USA still fall into exactly the same category -- lawbreakers. Illegal aliens' thumbing of their noses at criminal, medical and economic background checks ALONE are enough to make any sane citizen place illegal immigration at the top of the list of major dangers to this nation.

I am working overseas right now, and I can assure you that there are many unfriendly countries' governments around the world who are more than happy to see the type of naive attitude displayed by you and Lead Moderator. BOOM! I didn't want to get started with CJ, (I didn't want to get put on the 'probationary watch list', hehe) but you have nailed it. I suspect CJ is here to incite argument for argument's sake, and to be contrarian. Check his home page. He seems to be against an awful lot. What exactly he's for remains a mystery.

LM was being way too patient with him on a thread where he was trying to see how far he can push the envelope of conversation. I mean, it's amazing that he would start the very crap that LM wrote about in the post.

First of all, no one here (except perhaps principled Libertarians) supports illegal immigration, just as no one supports drug abuse or the initiation of force with guns. Secondly, it is not racism to oppose the non-conservative attitude of tribal justice. People deserve to be judged as individuals, based upon the content of their character, not as members of some larger, different group. That is true justice, and conservatives are big on justice.
