I understand this, and I know I'll be flamed..but what good is money if you don't enjoy it once in a while? I don't know....I live my life a little differently.

I agree with you. I am not rich, and I learned my lesson with college credit cards. However, I can't be cheap. I have to enjoy money. What the heck are we working for???

Knowing a few cheapskates myself, they get a kick out of boasting of their cheapness. I call it "poor mouthing"--

I agree. My hubby and I save for retirement, but we aren't obsessive about it. After all, we could retire and die the next day. On the other hand, we could live another 30 years. It's about striking a balance, I think.
