Going out on a limb here

What if one taught their child EARLY the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, took them to church on a regular basis, monitored their listening habits, provided a place for friends to play over so that the parents could actually watch and interact, and then provided some basic discipline. Maybe, just maybe, there wouldn't be kids doing "pranks" for thousands of dollars and stealing plasma TV's.

Think it could work? or just too "out there?"
