Has anybody else caught Howard Dean's rendition of "I'm proud to be a metrosexual from Muskogee" on the Limbaugh program or have any idea where an mp3 copy of that might be found?

It's a parody of Howard Dean singing "I'm proud to be a metrosexual from Montpelier" {the capital of Vermont).

It's just a snippet on one of those parodies he makes which are political take-offs on TV ads for CDs.

You might be able to find it on Limbaugh's site, though you'll probably have to subscribe to 24/7.

Without the support of Freeper donations, Free Republic would go belly-up, leaving guys like The French Gynecologist to be unopposed. And we can't have that!

I hear Rush's fill in host play it the other day. I thought I heard the lyrics as "I'm proud to be a metrosexual from Montpelier" though. Cute little parody...

The guy who does Rush's paradies has his own web site. I just can't remember his name. Lousy with names.

That is it. I know someone would come up with it. I noticed he has changed the words to the Yugo song though. And always loved his Ross Perot "there coming to take me away".

Thanks. One way or another, that's a gotta have. The only other thing I've heard as funny was Teddy Kennedy's rendition of Dion's "Well, I'm the kinda guy, who likes to roam around, wheah pretty girls ahhh [heavy new england accent], well, you know that I'm around..." That's also from the Limbaugh show.

Well, I'm the kinda guy, who likes to roam around,

Chorus:
"Well I'm the Philanderer, yeah the Philanderer. I sleep around, around, around, around, around, around."
Except for the last verse, where the chorus ends in "The car spins round and round and round and round ....."

Or the great Harry Belafonte song --- "Dayyyyy-o, Kennedayyyyy-o. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more. Hey, mister Kennedy, put away your banana. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more. Uncle Ted is naked out on the veranda. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more. Dayyyy-o, Kenneday, kenneday, Kennedayyyyyy-o. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more. Up in Chappaquiddick, Teddy looked for romance. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more. J-F-K couldn't keep it in his own pants. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more. Horrrrrrrrrrmones, Ho-oo-ormones. Kennedy clan is in trouble once more....." (This came out at the time of the William Kennedy Smith trial).

One night on the old Rush TV show in the first few months of the Clinton Reign (this was the time when the Dems passes a big tax hike instead of the "middle class tax cut" Clinton had repeatedly promised during the campaign), Rush had an Elvis lookalike standing beside a huge southern mansion, explaining that, "This is where I used to live. But now because of the Clinton tax hike I've had to sell it. (Walks to the left crunching through the gravel while the camera follows him). But this is where I live now. (He's next to some tiny building). I think I'd like to sing you a song. (music from Love Me Tender swells) Tax me tender. Tax me sweet. Never ..... raise my rate. You have made my fears complete. Oh where is .... my rebate? Tax me tender, tax me light, or all my dreams you kill. O, Slick Willie, I didn't vote for you. And I .... never will".
