I couldn't help but think of my own teenage son who is so consumed with how he looks that he is completely irrational at times. Imagine loving your long hair so much that you wouldn't cut it off even when it's filled with lice. It's not like boys in this culture would look strange with short hair. I can see if a woman freaked out over having to cut off her hair, but a boy? What's this world coming to?
