What do yo think about the .223 Wolf Ammo out of Russia. I have been told the powder is dirty and you risk failure in an AR_15.

From personal experience within the last two months I agree 100000%.

I accidentally bought a case at a gunshow in late November, thought I was getting something else, and will never buy another round. In fact I have about 750 rounds that I am about ready to trash. I will not use it and will not give it to a friend.

It is filthy and doesn't feed for $hit. It took me two hours to clean my AR15 after just 250 rounds. I took it out a week later and it was still dirty so I cleaned it again.

The last round from a magazine only feed once. This was tested with a 20rd converted by Bill Clinton to 10rd, a very high quality British 30rd and two 40rd mags. It jammed constantly.

At the shoot where we met, toward the end of the day, I loaded every mag I had and emptied them as fast as I could with So. African ammo and not a single hiccup. The accuracy wasn't affected either.

Took an hour for the barrel to cool.

The short answer to your question is that I will never shoot another round of Wolf ammo again.

Take care and stay safe!

My SKS's eat cheap Wolf ammo for breakfast.
No hiccups, no worries.

Your problem is having bought a precision weapon.
