I got the flu shot two years ago. It was great! I was prone to pneumonia and did not get a thing.
Last year, we missed them at our church. Our home was a bag of germs. I had everything including mono at 42.
This year during my six year old's checkup, I was snowed and got the shot. Within a day, my eyes clouded up and my ears blocked. I called the doctor and was told that I must have caught the flu before the shot. For a month (no kidding) I had the symptoms and no one else in my house got them. Funny thing with a three year old in preschool, first grader in a different school and my hubby working. SOMEONE should have gotten this. My shoulder is still sore.

I will never get a flu shot again and I thank God every day that I was too chicken to live through the girls getting shots. I said I would send Daddy to get a shot and the girls could get them then. Needless to say, they never went.

If you got sick less than 7-10 days after the vaccine, you were infected prior to the vaccination.

The virus incubates for about 7 days prior to manifesting symptoms and signs.
