Yes, I have a few times, as well as Egypt, and a few other middle eastern places, and Africa, Asia, Australia and many other places where being an american is not the greatest thing. Over 40 countries in the last 10 or so years. I usually take about 4 or 5 trips a year out of the US. People are people all over the world, by making rash generalizations about them, it makes it much easier not to view them as people like you and I, with families and friends and hopes and dreams.

I would say that the people of France, with the contempt that they show for Americans, reap what they sow...

Of course they have with families and friends and hopes and dreams. And of course it's sad that anyone suffer at the hands of terrorists, but that doesn't mean the French are not low-life. I would ask how many of our boys or girls died in Iraq because the French sided with Saddam?

I have a close friend from Paris, and a few years ago we hosted an exchange student from France. Both were embarrassed by there countrymen.
