And speaking of checking facts, I have a question about a trend I have noticed at the DU. Many DU'ers start threads about BFEE and other conspiracy theories. These threads attract lots of DU'ers(approx 100 posts) who are quite happy to jump on the bandwagon and buy into the latest "theory". However, when a knowledgable DU'er posts FACTS that debunks the theory, the thread goes dead. I see it happen over and over and over again. So tell me, do FACTS scare people off over there or what?
Facts to them are like light to cockroaches....it sends them scurrying. I mean, look at what they consider leadership material. Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich! Give me a break. These people are swimming in the sea of delusion and they will run away and hide from any attempt at piercing their shallow facade.
