He told me last night that it was going to be Dallas 52-17 over the Pats. I don't know, though. He seemed to think we still had a good quarterback...

I don't remember that story, but I heard in one of the dozens of predictions for "04, on TV that Bush would win in '04.She also predicted that late in the race, a secret regarding the motives for Dean running will be revealed.

It's embarrasing is what it is.

Like I have nothing better to debate with my lib friends than the latest ravings from Pat-friggin'-Robertson.

This just feeds the fevered imaginations of the far left and reinforces the crude stereotypes that some in the middle have about conservatives. You know, bible-thumping, "God spoke to me last night. Send me money!", hypocrites, charlatans and would-be talibanis.

Just shut it, Robertson. Keep your lunatic "voice of God" prophecies to yourself.

It's hard to hold anything against a righteous man. I think Bush will do quite well.

Well in the case of the presidential prediction, Robertson did it so he can be right. W's going to win it.

He probably is right...but, I don't understand it. Biblically, God has a reason for trotting out a prophet.

What, do you think God told him so he would go on TV and announce it to the world? If so, what was the Almighty's agenda in letting it leak?

If God is announcing to us ahead of time the results of the election, via His prophet, are we supposed to...what? what? Pat?

Or is it just to remind us that Pat hears God talk in his ear?

Agree with your post. People don't like being "informed" who they are going to vote for ... I can understand some taking offense by seeing this as an attempted abridgement of their free will.

There is something very unhumble about the way this was put out.

I kind of wish that God would tell Pat to respectfully shut the hell up.

Pat's done some good. He had a major role in Bush being elected the first time.

However, he lacks sometimes in the "prophet" dept. I remember he claimed over and over and over again that Y2K would be a major worldwide catastrophe...and it turned out to be a blip.

the Holy Spirit probably did tell him that GWB would be chosen again as president but, I would be more interested in hearing from Pat why God told him, and how will this revelation being made public win others to accept Jesus Christ?????

Dear Father, Almighty God,

Would you consider, perhaps, sending a huge package of

WISDOM

along with your next message to Pat Robertson?

Especially about Bush and the election???

Sigh.

Even IF God did tell Pat this, what would be the point in revealing it? People objecting to their free will being usurped would go in droves to the polls, and some of those who agree with Pat would be less likely to vote (after all, it's a guaranteed win). This has the potential to come back and bite us in the butt.

A vote for WJB Bush is a vote for G-. You wouldn't vote against G-, would you?
