"They should not allow women around athletes hotel rooms, locker room doors or anywhere else the team members congregate.

We can make that happen when the athletes' hotel rooms, locker room doors, etc. are in the confines of a state penitentiary. Of course they might have to tolerate the women psychiatrists and guards ...

"Why else are they hanging around the hotels? Huh. Don't you think they, the women, should start taking responsility for themselves and stay out of dangerous situations. WOW!
"

Hmm...seems to me that girls have always hung around football stars. But not all football stars sexually assault those women. In fact, I'm sure most don't. But, you apparently think that hanging around a football player is "asking for it." I hope your daughter doesn't fall for a jock, then. Maybe you'd have a different point of view, then. Or maybe not.

Reminds me of the book A Man In Full by Tom Wolfe. A good book, not nearly as much fun as his Bonfire of the Vanities, though.

"Hum? They enter a mans room for what? To talk? Play chess perhaps. "

I've had women in my hotel room, and talking was all we did. I never believed that proximity to a woman gave a man the right to have sex with her. That's another issue altogether.

You can blame women for whatever you want, but forced sexual activity is just plain wrong, no matter what the situation.

Was this woman using poor judgment? Probably. Does that justify sexual assault? Never.

Of course, we'll have to wait and see if an actual assault took place, but it sure sounds like it.

"My daughter is married and a mother. I brought her up right. Please don't bring my daughter into it."

Why not? Every woman is someone's daughter, including the one in question now.

I'm very familiar with sports groupies. Most of them are actively seeking sexual encounters with these false heroes. Sounds like this was a different case, though. But you're still blaming the woman. Oh, well.

He is either baiting or it is Kobe. The woman and Ell, according to reports, did know each other and she was there for the game.

Didn't this moron learn anything from Kobe's case? Far too many athletes have this enormous sense of entitlement, of being above the law.

I believe it was Casey Stengal, the one time Yankee manager, who said something to the effect: Its not staying up late that affects an athlete's performance, its what he does staying up late that affects his performance.

"Look man, believe what you want."

Say...thanks for the permission. Personally, I believe that adult men and women can do whatever they like. Everyone involved in this is over 18.

If Bubba could stay as president, if Teddy Kennedy can stay in Congress then this guy can play in a stupid football game. Snyder will allow it. You all know that some people are more equal than others. The only thing preventing him from playing probably would have been a nativity scene in his hotel room.

Looks like Roberson is ready to play in the NFL NBA.

It's not called the National Felon Leage for nothing.
