I agree. Putting Condi on the ticket for 2004 would serve no purpose, since no one knows the effect of putting a black and/or woman on the ticket right now. Had GW been in serious trouble politically it would make sense to "throw a bomb" with a choice like Condi, but in the current environment Bush would need a "safe" pick not one that could upset the apple cart.

BS... Condi is not a Bomb out from no where. She is a well known possibility from the moment she started to be seen with Bush way before the election, Bush has no trouble putting whomever in slots he likes regardless if the upset the apple cart. Your analysis is incorrect.
