What's the inverse-square law, Any point source that spreads out equally form the origin point obeys the physics of inverse square -- The intensity of the influence at any given radius r is the source strength divided by the area of the sphere.
This is evidenced in things like the blast damage at the OKC bombing being greater at distances farther away from the blast than directly in front of it ... OOOOOPS ... well maybe the inverse square law has some flaws or exceptions.
