Maybe some of the passengers from this afternoon's canceled BA flight #0222 from Dulles to Heathrow were given seats on this "delayed" flight #216.

If so, perhaps HS and FBI were still looking at some of the same people of interest.

I think what's happening is that American officials in these foreign airports are raising red flags when local security officers allow questionable people on the planes (like the shoebomber nut). They must radio ahead and say "Hey, there's this really weird guy on the Air France flight that just left."

I hope that we have agents in each international terminal over there, just watching passengers on US-bound flights.
