Linquistically, if it was an attempt at satire, it has failed in that it reads more as a direct attack against Republicans and their common sense beliefs rather than a piece having created amusement or contempt for those beliefs (required for genuine satire). It is the writer, therefore, who looks ridiculous and has become the "unintended object" of scorn and ridicule. As this "literary piece" also lacks common sense, we can also be amused with the troll's utter failure!
Gee - and I thought it was bad enough that the goof was a flaming troll - but an *illiterate* one at that....how despicable! :-)
